Guillian Barre

As many of you already know my Husband Aaron has a syndrome called Guillian Barre- (said: geeyan-baray). It is a syndrome that paralyses you while your body fights it. Your immune system attacks your nervous system, and your body is kinda in shock for a while. So he has been back and forth to the hospital several times.(Since Feb 13th) He has had 5 Plasmapherisis treatments, which is kinda like dialysis, and he is now at the Rehab Hospital of the Pacific. They are wonderful there. They are so kind, concerned, and willing to help us out! We both have our up days and our down days but he is really tired of the whole thing already. It is one of those things in life that is a HUGE blessing and a HUGE trial at the same time, and they are both all mixed up in one HUGE, CONFUSING, AMAZING, EXHAUSTING TRIAL. My testimony has been strengthen in so many different ways. I truly learn something new every day! I know that my husband has been the same way. I have never seen him more, loving, kind, patient, compassionate, humble, faithful, or righteous in my entire life. All his good qualities have been magnified, and he has truly been an inspiration to me and everyone he meets. His Faith in our Father in Heaven has been stretched,tested, and tried. This syndrome often affects peoples ability to breath and so when he got to that point, he truly had to rely only on his faith to get him past the worrisome thoughts of "what if I stop breathing?" We are now living life one day at a time. And appreciating more fully all the blessings that we have. We have truly been blessed with all the help his family has given us. We could never have gotten even to this point with out them.

Tacoma and Kiamaia have been so cute and understanding. I am sure they wonder why their Dad doesn't live with them any more...why he is at "THE QUEENS house" as Tacoma has always called it. However I have noticed Tacoma's prayers as not so repetitive, and more specific now too....I am sure after listening to her mom she sees that you can talk to your Heavenly Father about anything. She prays for the Doctors, and that her dad will be happy, She also prays for all her cousins, and actually every member of her extended family to be happy and share.LOL. It is amazing the innocence, and meekness that we can learn from our kids. N-E-Way....Anyone who reads this please say a prayer for Aaron, that his body will begin the healing process that it needs to go through in order for him to recover. We miss him at home, and we are ready for this to be over!
